Iraq’s Alsaree3 Secures Seven-Figure Series A Funding Round

Alsaree3, a leading food delivery app based in Iraq, has successfully completed a seven-figure Series A funding round. The investment was led by Euphrates Ventures, with significant contributions from Iraq Venture Partners (IVP), Euphrates Ventures, and Snoonu, Qatar’s top food delivery and e-commerce platform.

Founded in 2018 by Bassam Al-Ateia, Alsaree3 has quickly become a key player in Iraq’s food delivery and last-mile service sector.

The platform offers a simple and efficient solution for restaurants and customers, making food ordering and delivery hassle-free.

The new funds will accelerate Alsaree3’s growth plans across Iraq and have a positive impact on the Iraqi startup ecosystem. This investment highlights the significant progress of the Iraqi market and its growing appeal compared to other Gulf countries. The involvement of Snoonu, a prominent regional player, marks a significant milestone for the Iraqi startup scene.
