Flat6Labs marks the graduation of the sixth cohort from the Amman Seed Program

Flat6Labs, a venture capital firm based in the MENA region, recently held a Demo Day to conclude the sixth cycle of its Amman Seed Programme. The event featured pitches from seven startups hailing from Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, and Lebanon, representing industries such as fintech, regtech, automotive services, and design tech. These startups had previously secured undisclosed funding through the Flat6Labs Amman Seed Programme.

On September 4th, 2024, the sixth Demo Day took place in Amman, highlighting the achievements of the seven startups that completed the Amman Seed Programme. The companies showcased their innovative solutions to a range of stakeholders, spanning multiple sectors including fintech, regtech, automotive services, and design tech.

Following the Demo Day, an Investor Mixer event was hosted in collaboration with Bank al Etihad. This speed networking event allowed the startups, along with previous cohorts, to connect with a wide network of regional and local investors, fostering potential investment opportunities. Venture funds in attendance included MSA Novo, MEVP, Ibtikar Fund, Hala VC, Golden Gate Ventures, 212, Vision VC, VentureSouq, Silicon Badia, and Propeller.

The Demo Day marked the culmination of four months of intensive work during which the startups received funding and personalized business development support from Flat6Labs. This included opportunities for networking, expanding into new markets, and forming strategic partnerships, all of which contributed to their growth. Over the course of the program, the startups focused on scaling their customer base, refining their products, and entering new markets.

Rasha Manna, General Manager of Flat6Labs, remarked on the significance of supporting startups during challenging times in the region, saying, “With the current situation in our region, it is more important than ever to invest in and nurture the most promising talent. We are proud to see the progress made by these startups from Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, and Lebanon. Our support doesn’t end at Demo Day; we continue to work closely with our portfolio companies as they grow. It’s an honor to be part of their journey.”
