El Kheta, an Egypt-based edtech startup founded in 2019 by Mohamed Mahmoud, has secured a $400,000 investment from EdVentures. This significant funding boost will support El Kheta’s mission to revolutionize the educational experience for students in Egypt.
El Kheta offers an innovative online platform that allows students to tailor their learning experience by selecting their preferred curricula and creating personalized study plans. The platform provides a range of resources, including reinforcement lessons, exercises, exams based on the new Egyptian curricula, interactive educational videos, homework assignments, and direct communication with teachers. These features are designed to help students improve their academic performance and achieve their educational goals.
EdVentures, the investment arm of Nahdet Misr Group, is the first venture capital company in Egypt specializing in educational technology. This investment is part of EdVentures’ broader commitment to fostering innovation in the edtech sector, supporting emerging entrepreneurs, and contributing to job creation and economic development in Egypt.
